Bulgarian (, ; bg, label=none, български, bălgarski, ) is an Eastern South Slavic language spoken in Southeastern Europe, primarily in Bulgaria. It is the language of the Bulgarians. Vasil Kanchov ( bg, Васил Кънчов, Vasil Kanchov) (26 July 1862 – 6 February 1902) was a Bulgarian geographer, ethnographer and politician. Biography Vasil Kanchov was born in Vratsa. Upon graduating from High school in Lom, Bulgaria, he entered the University of Harkov, then in Russia. During the Serbo-Bulgarian War 1885 he suspended his education and took part in the war. Later, he went on to pursue studies at universities in Munich and Stuttgart, but in 1888 he interrupted his education again due to an illness. In the following years Kanchov was a Bulgarian teacher in Macedonia. Vasil Iljoski ( mk, Васил Иљоски, (December 20, 1902 - November 1, 1995) was a Macedonian writer, dramatist, professor and an important figure in Macedonian literature, especially in Macedonian drama between the two World Wars. Biography Vasil Iljoski was born in Kruševo in 1902. He has finished his elementary education in the town of Kumanovo, where he moved in his early childhood. During that period, he has helped his father in their family business, but he did not accept it as his future profession. Iljoski finished secondary school in Kumanovo and enrolled at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a teacher in the City Gymnasium in Kumanovo. Vasil Kostov Glavinov (Bulgarian and Macedonian: Васил Костов Главинов) (1868 or 1869 in Köprülü, now Veles – 1929 in Sofia) was a Macedonian Bulgarian left-wing politician from Ottoman Macedonia, and an activist of the Bulgarian workers' movement. Per post-WWII historiography in North Macedonia he was an ethnic Macedonian.
