Varsity Field is a baseball field located on the campus of the University at Albany in Albany, New York, United States. The field is home to the team of the NCAA Division I America East Conference. The facility shares its name with the university's soccer facility. Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each, taking turns batting and fielding. The 2004 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on January 16, 2004. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2004 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2004 College World Series. Canisius Golden Griffins
The Canisius College Golden Griffins are composed of 16 teams representing Canisius College in intercollegiate athletics. These teams include men's and women's basketball, cross country, track, lacrosse, soccer, and swimming and diving. Men's sports include baseball, ice hockey, and golf.
