Varaphalam
''Varaphalam'' () is a 1994 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Thaha and written by B. Jayachandran, starring Sreenivasan and Mukesh in the lead roles. Plot The story is about Thilakan and his two sons, one of them blind, Unni (Sreenivasan), and the other one deaf, Balan (Mukesh).The story takes a turn when the sons marry and their in-laws try to steal the family money. Krishnankutty (Jagathy) is a clever but honest caretaker for the deaf and blind siblings, who is constantly at odds with their in-laws. Being astute he senses the actual intentions of the in laws and warns the brothers. His run-ins with the in-laws give some genuine comic moments. Mukesh Madhavan (born 5 March 1957), known mononymously as Mukesh, is an Indian actor, film producer, television presenter, and politician who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema besides also having sporadically appeared in Tamil-language films. Kalasala Babu (1950 14 May 2018) was an Indian actor who performed on stage, and in television serials and films. On stage Babu had been acting in radio plays while at college. Following his graduation in 1973, Babu acted in ''Paanchajanyam'', yielding a good performance. Babu acted at Kalidasa Kala Kendram for two years, and was offered roles by the late O. Madhavan and K. T. Muhammed. After acting in his first film '' Inayethedi'' in 1977, Babu started his drama troupe 'Kalasala' in Thripunithura, which had artists such as Thilakan and Surasu, amongst others.
