Thaha is an Indian film director and writer, known primarily for his slapstick comedy movies. Career Earlier Thaha worked as an assistant director in films including ''Rajavinte Makan'', ''Bhoomiyile Rajakkanmar'', ''Kakkothikkavile Appooppan Thaadikal'', and ''Varnam'' to directors such as Kamal (director), Kamal and Thampi Kannanthanam. In 1991, he co-directed with Ashokan the film ''Mookkillarajyathu'', as Ashokan-Thaha. Later he went on to direct films independently. ''Mookilla Rajyathu'' () is a 1991 Indian Malayalam-language slapstick comedy film directed by the Ashokan-Thaha duo and written by B. Jayachandran. It stars Mukesh, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Siddique, and Vinaya Prasad. The film features music composed by Ouseppachan. The plot revolves around four patients escaped from a mental asylum and the troubles they cause in their attempts to start a new life in a sane society. Raman Ashok Kumar (28 May 1961 – 25 September 2022), better known as Ashokan, was an Indian filmmaker from Kerala. He was also the Managing director of ''Oberon'', an IT firm operating in Gulf and Kochi. Ashwathy Kurup (born 7 April 1970), better known by her stage name Parvathy and married name Parvathy Jayaram (Aswathi Jayaram) , is a former Indian actress, costume designer and classical dancer, who appeared in Malayalam films. Vinaya Prakash ( Bhat), also credited as Vinaya Prasad, is an Indian actress who has primarily featured in Kannada, and Malayalam films and TV series besides acting in Telugu language films. Siddique (born 1 October 1962) is an Indian actor and producer, who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Along with appearing in over 350 Malayalam films, he has also acted in a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films.
