Vanhatulli
Vanhatulli is a district of the city centre area of Oulu, Finland. Together with the districts of Pokkinen and Vaara, Vanhatulli forms the central business district of Oulu. It is bounded by the estuary of the Oulujoki river to the west, the Pokkinen and Vaara districts to the north, the Leveri and Hollihaka districts to the south and the railway to the east. Besides commercial area, Vanhatulli also has got residential neighbourhoods like the historic Kuusiluoto neighbourhood by the river Oulujoki and the new urban neighbourhood of Etu-Lyötty along the railway. The Oulun Suomalaisen Yhteiskoulun Lukio upper secondary school is located in the Kuusiluoto neighbourhood. Pokkinen is a district of the city centre area of Oulu, Finland. Together with districts of Vaara and Vanhatulli, Pokkinen forms the central business district of Oulu. Oulun Suomalaisen Yhteiskoulun Lukio
Oulun Suomalaisen Yhteiskoulun Lukio (abbr. OSYK, en, Finnish Co-educational Lycée of Oulu) is a Finnish-language upper secondary school in Oulu, Finland. The school is located in the Kuusiluoto neighbourhood in the Vanhatulli district in the central Oulu. There are about 40 teachers and about 620 students in OSYK. The school is arts and culture oriented, and it is part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network. Mannerheim Park, Oulu
The Mannerheim Park is a small urban park in Vanhatulli district of Oulu, Finland. Renovations finished in 2019 changed the look of the park completely, and made it more suitable for small events. The park is a favorite hangout for many. The park is adjacent to the Kela building, and features a grill kiosk and a children's play area with rides and swings. The park was named after Marshal Mannerheim, the commander-in-chief of Finnish defense forces, in honour of his 75th birthday in 1942. Hollihaka
Hollihaka is a district of the city centre area of Oulu, Finland. It is bounded by the estuary of the Oulujoki river to the west, the Vanhatulli district to the north, the Leveri district to the east and the Nuottasaari district to the south. Together with the two latter districts, Hollihaka forms a neighbourhood called Heinäpää. Hollihaka is mainly residential area. Rail Transport In Finland
The Finnish railway network consists of a total track length of of railways built with broad commonly known as Russian gauge track, of which of track is electrified.
