Adrian Vandenberg (born 31 January 1954 as Adriaan van den Berg) is a Dutch rock guitarist, best known for his tenure as one of the guitarists in Whitesnake during their successful late 1980s period and the band Vandenberg which he started in 1981. In 2013, Adrian formed a new band, Vandenberg's MoonKings, and recorded a new studio album which was released in early 2014. Dr. Don VandenBerg is Professor Emeritus of astronomy (Ph.D. Australian National University) at the department of physics and astronomy at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He is internationally acclaimed for his work on modelling stars of different size and composition. Using basic input physics, such as nuclear reaction rates and opacities, VandenBerg uses computer models to help understand the structure and evolution of stars. These models, which are tightly constrained by observations, provide insight into stellar populations and will ultimately be used to synthesize the stellar populations of distant galaxies. Hoyt Sanford Vandenberg (January 24, 1899 – April 2, 1954) was a United States Air Force general. He served as the second Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and the second Director of Central Intelligence. During World War II, Vandenberg was the commanding general of the Ninth Air Force, a tactical air force in England and in France, supporting the Army, from August 1944 until V-E Day. Vandenberg Space Force Base on the central coast of California is named after him. In 1946, he was briefly the U.S. Chief of Military Intelligence. He was the nephew of Arthur H. James Vandenberg (born November 24, 1989) is a former American football quarterback. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vikings in 2013. He played college football at Iowa. High school career Vandenberg went to Keokuk High School in Keokuk, Iowa. While in high school, Vandenberg was the most prolific passer in Iowa high school history. Kimberly Vandenberg (born December 13, 1983) is an American competition swimmer and Olympic medalist. Vandenberg grew up in Moraga, California, and swam for Campolindo High School and Orinda Aquatics. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning U.S. team in the women's 4×200-meter freestyle relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, swimming in the preliminary heats of the relay event.
