Biography Van den Acker studied at the Delft University of Technology, where he obtained a Master of Engineering at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Career He began his career in 1990 as a designer at Design System srl in Turin, Italy, that worked on the interior of the Bugatti EB110 supercar. In 1993, he moved to Audi as an Exterior Designer in the Ingolstadt Design Center in Germany, where he met J Mays. In 1996 he followed J Mays to SHR Perceptual Management in Newbury Park as a Senior Designer. Van den Acker joined Ford Motor Company, where J Mays had become vice-president of Design, in 1998. Steven Vanackere, (, born on 4 February 1964 in Wevelgem) is a Belgian politician from Flanders and member of the Christian Democratic and Flemish party (CD&V). He held the portfolios of Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Institutional Reform in the Leterme II government. He is the son of Leo Vanackere, who, following a political career as a Member of the Chamber of Representatives and the Senate of Belgium, became the Provincial Governor of West Flanders in 1979. Johannes Baptista Van Acker
Johannes Baptista van Acker (1794–1863) was a Flemish painter. Van Acker was born at Bruges. He studied under Joseph Francois Ducq, Ducq, and soon became popular as a Portrait miniature, miniature-painter. In 1834 he went to Paris, and was there acknowledged as one of the best artists of his class. After his return to Bruges, he was called by Leopold I of Belgium, King Leopold to Brussels, and painted numerous miniatures of the Monarchy of Belgium, royal family and personages of the court. After a journey to England, Van Acker returned to Bruges, where he died, in 1863. Notes References
