Vallhall Arena
Vallhall Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena, located in Valle-Hovin, Oslo, Norway. The stadium has a capacity of 5,500 people, during matches. The Tippeligaen club Vålerenga uses the arena for training and friendly matches in the winter off-season. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The arena also serves as an event arena. The arena is also a well-known concert hall, with a capacity of 12,500 people. It's not far away from Valle Hovin, an outdoor concert arena. On 22 April 2001, Irish vocal pop band Westlife held a concert for their Where Dreams Come True Tour supporting their album '' Coast to Coast''. Valle-Hovin
Valle-Hovin is a neighborhood in Oslo, Norway, best known for the sports and music venue of the same name. It consists of two neighborhoods with unclear boundaries, Valle and Hovin. Valle was a farm under Nonneseter but was bought by private owners in 1765; the farm Hovin was probably under Torshov, then under Oslo Cathedral before the Reformation. It was bought by private owners in 1664. The farms Valle and Hovin were both bought by Oslo Municipality in 1915. The municipality planned to use the area for an airfield in the 1930s, but in the 1960s, it was decided that a sports complex Valle Hovin would be created. It is also used for larger musical shows. In 2001, the indoor arena, mostly used for soccer, Vallhall Arena was opened. In 2017, in Vålerengas, a new stadium, Intility Arena was opened. Valle Hovin
Valle Hovin is both a bandy and speed skating rink in cold weather, and an outdoor stadium for concerts in warm weather, in Oslo, Norway. Located in the residential area Valle-Hovin, in amongst trees and a park, one finds Valle Hovin. It is reachable from the Lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 reaching the Helsfyr station of the Oslo T-bane metro system, and additionally via two bus lines as well as substantial parking for automobiles. As a concert venue Valle Hovin can hold at least 40,000 people, many of whom stand on the concrete floor where the rink is laid in winter. Many internationally famous popular music acts have appeared there, the first one being Tina Turner on 20 June 1987. Prior to a June 1995 expansion, the concert capacity was 30,000. ''Coast to Coast'' is the second studio album by Irish boy band Westlife. It was also the band's second album to be released as a five-piece. It was released on 6 November 2000 by RCA Records. Five hit singles were released from the album: " Against All Odds", " My Love", "What Makes a Man", "I Lay My Love on You" and "When You're Looking Like That". The album was a commercial success in both Ireland and the United Kingdom, selling 1.8 million copies in Britain alone. The album was the third-best selling of 2000 in Britain. The Where Dreams Come True Tour was the second concert tour by Irish boy band Westlife seen by 600,000 fans making £12,000,000, in support of their second studio album, '' Coast to Coast''. The tour was nicknamed "The No Stools Tour" due to the band's reputation of performing while perched on stools. Before this full-length world tour, they had a short tour within UK, Ireland and Southeast Asian countries. A ''Coast to Coast'' Itinerary was made as a tour programme with original 63-page A5 sized spiral-bound tour itinerary book for 1 February to 31 March UK tour. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018. The group has released twelve studio albums: four as a five-piece and eight as a four-piece. They rose to fame with their debut international self-titled studio album, '' Westlife'' (1999). Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division.
