Valeriu Ciupercă
Valeriu Nicolaevici Ciupercă, born 12 June 1992 in Tiraspol, Transnistria (''de facto''), Moldova (''de jure'') (now Left Bank of the Dniester (''de jure'')), is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career He made his Russian Premier League debut for FC Krasnodar on 13 May 2012 in a game against PFC Spartak Nalchik. On 2 July 2014, Ciupercă signed a three-year contract with Anzhi Makhachkala. On 27 May 2016, he scored the decisive goal for FC Tom Tomsk in their promotion play-offs second-leg 2-0 victory against FC Kuban Krasnodar, securing Tom's promotion to the Russian Football Premier League. On 10 January 2018, Ciupercă signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with FC Rostov. He was released from his Rostov contract by mutual consent on 4 July 2018. Tiraspol
Tiraspol or Tirișpolea ( ro, Tiraspol, Moldovan Cyrillic: Тираспол, ; russian: Тира́споль, ; uk, Тирасполь, Tyraspol') is the capital of Transnistria (''de facto''), a breakaway state of Moldova, where it is the third largest city. The city is located on the eastern bank of the Dniester River. Tiraspol is a regional hub of light industry, such as furniture and electrical goods production. The modern city of Tiraspol was founded by the Russian generalissimo Alexander Suvorov in 1792, although the area had been inhabited for thousands of years by varying ethnic groups. Moldova National Football Team
The Moldova national football team ( ro, Echipa națională de fotbal a Moldovei) represents Moldova in international football and is controlled by the Moldovan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Moldova. Moldova's home ground is Zimbru Stadium in Chișinău and their head coach is Serghei Cleșcenco. Shortly before the break-up of the Soviet Union, they played their first match against Georgia on 2 July 1991. Two of their three best results in the 1990s came during the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 1996, with wins over Georgia (1–0) in Tbilisi and Wales (3–2) in Chișinău. The 2010–11 Moldovan National Division ( ro, Divizia Naţională) was the 20th season of top-tier football in Moldova. Sheriff Tiraspol were the defending champions having won their tenth Moldovan championship, all consecutively, last season. The competition began on 24 July 2010. Moldovan National Division
The Moldovan Super Liga is an association football league that is currently the top division of Moldovan football league system. The competition was established in 1992, when the country became independent from the Soviet Union. It was formed in place of former Soviet republican competitions that existed since 1945. Before the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in 1940, clubs from modern Moldova competed in the Romanian football competitions, particularly Nistru Chișinău. There are currently eight teams in the competition. At the end of the season, the bottom club is relegated to the Moldovan Liga 1 and replaced by the lower league's champion. The 2009–10 Moldovan National Division ( ro, Divizia Națională) was the 19th season of top-tier football in Moldova. The season began on 5 July 2008, with the final round of matches played on 16 May 2009. Sheriff Tiraspol retained their title as defending champions. Team changes On 6 June 2009, Tiligul-Tiras Tiraspol announced that the club would dissolve, citing a lack of funds as the reason. As a consequence, Academia Chișinău were spared from relegation. The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. FC Kuban (russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Кубань" Краснодар) was a Russian football club based in Krasnodar. The team began playing in the Russian Premier League in 2011, after it was promoted for winning the Russian First Division. FC Kuban was one of the oldest football clubs in Russia. Founded as Dynamo of the Krasnodar NKVD, FC Kuban changed its affiliations because of changing politics in the USSR. Club members and fans were called "Kubantsy" () (because of its Kuban, location) or "yellow-greens" (the club colours). The team was also known as the "Cossacks" by fans.
