Valdezcaray is a ski area situated near the resort town of Ezcaray in the upper Oja Valley of the Sierra de la Demanda, Sistema Ibérico, Iberian System (province of La Rioja (autonomous community), La Rioja, Spain). Sierra De La Demanda
Sierra de la Demanda is a mountain sub-range situated in the northern Iberian Peninsula. The Sierra de la Demanda area provides the habitat for ''Lissotriton helveticus punctillatus'' (Schmidtler 1970), a subspecies of the palmate newt. Geography The Sierra de la Demanda is part of the western section of the larger Sistema Ibérico. Picos de Urbión, or "Urbion Peaks" is a mountain range in the Sistema Ibérico, Spain, limited by the Sierra de Neila and Sierra Cebollera of the same range. Sistema Ibérico
The Iberian System ( es, Sistema Ibérico, ) is one of the major systems of mountain ranges in Spain. It consists of a vast and complex area of mostly relatively high and rugged mountain chains and massifs located in the central region of the Iberian Peninsula, but reaching almost the Mediterranean coast in the Valencian Community in the east.
