Vaidotai Railway Station
Vaidotai railway station ( lt, Vaidotų geležinkelio stotis) is a Lithuanian Railways station in Vilnius. It is the main cargo transit station in Lithuania. Vaidotai railway station was built in order to reduce cargo transactions in Vilnius railway station and Paneriai railway station. It is connected with Vilnius-Vaidotai-Paneriai railway circle. Vilnius Railway Station
Vilnius Railway Station ( lt, Vilniaus geležinkelio stotis) is a Lithuanian Railways passenger station in Vilnius, Lithuania. The railway station situates between two neighbourhoods of Vilnius - Naujininkai and Naujamiestis and on the edge of the Old Town. History The station was opened in 1861 while building the Saint Petersburg–Warsaw Railway. It was destroyed in 1945 during World War II and in 1950 it was rebuilt in socialist realism style. Paneriai Railway Station
Paneriai railway station ( lt, Panerių geležinkelio stotis) is a Lithuanian Railways station in Vilnius. It is mostly used for industry and cargo handling. Part of its cargo transactions was moved to the new Vaidotai railway station. Since 2013 a train with Peugeot productions has regularly gone from Paneriai railway station to Kazakhstan. References

Nemėžis
Nemėžis is a village in the Vilnius district municipality, Lithuania, it is located only about east of Vilnius. It is located south-east of Vilnius along a railway. History It is believed that there was a castle in Nemėžis during the reign of Vytautas the Great (1392–1430). The settlement was first mentioned in written sources in 1496 when Grand Duke of Lithuania Alexander Jagiellon welcomed his future wife Helena of Moscow here. Vilnius Intermodal Terminal
Vilnius Intermodal Terminal is a first railway dry port in Vilnius, Lithuania. Terminal is located next to the Vaidotai railway station. The project was carried out by Lithuanian Railways (AB “Lietuvos geležinkeliai”), making use of support from the EU Cohesion Fund. This project worked to achieve one of the most important goals of the EU and Lithuania: to reduce roadway usage and transfer a large part of the burden of cargo transportation to railways. History The construction works started on 21 June 2013. The total estimated cost of the project is 107.2 millions Litas, Lt. As of 2013 agreement 51% of the shares belongs to the Vilnius city municipality, while Lithuanian Railways owns the remaining 49%.
