Vaida Sipavičiūtė (born November 6, 1985) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. She plays for Club Atletico Faenza (Italy) and Lithuania women's national basketball team. She has represented national team in EuroBasket Women 2011 competition. She has spent 4 years in Syracuse Orange team. The Syracuse Orange are the athletic teams that represent Syracuse University. The school is a member of NCAA Division I and the Atlantic Coast Conference. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense.
