VIS Simboli
VIS Simboli are a fictional band from the Yugoslavian film '' Strangler vs. Strangler''. Fictional history The band was formed by Spiridon Kopicl (played by Srđan Šaper, at the time of the film recording member of the band Idoli, which was also known as VIS Idoli) and recorded only one song, "Bejbi, bejbi", inspired by the experience of Kopicl after seeing a television report on a victim of the Belgrade Strangler. Initially, the song only featured the lyrics "Bejbi, bejbi, hoću da te davim" ("Baby, baby, I want to strangle you") repeated for several times. However, encouraged by the previous experience with the Belgrade Strangler, Kopicl tried to live the role of the strangler, moving around Belgrade streets and eventually expanding the song lyrics. "Beogradski davitelj" became a nationwide hit and was broadcast on the popular music radio show host by Sofija Mačkić (Sonja Savić). Andrej Aćin
Andrej Aćin is a Serbian director, screenwriter and composer from Belgrade. In the 1990s, he fronted the gothic rock band BAAL. From 1992 until 1995, he worked as the music editor at the Belgrade Art television station, and, in 1997, he was enrolled at the Belgrade Art Academy on the department for film and television directing. He directed the theatre piece ''Pasija po telu'' (''Passion on the Body''), a semi-documentary ''Moj svet pun svetlosti'' (''My World Full of Light'') and the short movie ''Margina'' (''Margin''). ''Strangler vs. Strangler'' ( sh, Davitelj protiv davitelja) is a 1984 Yugoslav Serbian film featuring elements of comedy, thriller and horror genres. Plot In the mid-1980s Belgrade finally gets its first serial killer: an awkward carnations seller named Pera Mitić ( Taško Načić). Mitić is an overweight 48-year-old man who is in an Oedipus kind of way connected to his aging mother. His mother often punishes him when he does not sell any of the carnation flowers. His punishments include kneeling on nutshells while being slapped by his mother or being locked in the water tank. This is the reason why he starts killing every girl who refuses to buy his flowers. Mitić's character can be compared to Norman Bates's character and relationship with his mother. Trigger (band)
The Trigger is a Serbian hard rock/ heavy metal band from Belgrade. History The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist and songwriter Dušan Svilokos Đurić, female vocalist Milena Branković, and bass guitarist Petar "Pera" Popović. Keyboardist Marko Antonić, and drummer Zoran Jović "Đavo" were soon added to their ranks and the five-piece band started working on songs for their debut album, entering the studio in 2006. The band was performing and releasing albums for their domestic market under the name "Trigger", until they added "The" to their name in 2019, for legal reasons, as their first album in English for the international market was about to be released. The band's debut album '' Ljubav'' (''Love'') was released in December 2007 through PGP-RTS. ''Ljubav'' was imagined as a concept album, featuring lyrics dealing with dark sides of love. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Čovek Bez Sluha ( sr-Cyrl, Човек Без Слуха; trans. ''A Tone-deaf Man'') is a Serbian punk rock band from Kragujevac. History 1990s The band was formed in late 1994 by Mikica Zdravković (guitar, bass guitar) and Aleksandar Marković "Coa" (vocals) with Željko Maksimović "Maks" (drums) and Radomir Mirković (vocals). The band was soon joined by the former Van Gogh bassist Dejan Ilić "Cvika". Kristali ( sr-Cyrl, Кристали; trans. ''The Crystals'') are a Serbian pop rock band from Belgrade. History 1990s The band was formed in January 1993, by bassist and vocalist Dejan Gvozden and guitarist Željko Markuš, who, having performed blues and rock standards in Belgrade cafes, were joined by drummer Dejan Kostić.
