VH1 (Brazilian TV Channel)
VH1 Brasil was a music channel from Viacom-owned Viacom International Media Networks The Americas. The network was launched in November 2005 on some cable systems, but it was not until May 2006 that it was launched on DirecTV Brazil, replacing MTV Latin America. It targets 25- to 44-year-olds and plays local and international music videos from the 1970s to the 2000s. It also airs famous "Top 20" and "Top 40" countdowns from VH1 USA. At its launch, VH1's Celebreality shows, such as ''The Surreal Life'', ''Breaking Bonaduce'', ''My Fair Brady'', '' SuperGroup'' and ''So NoTORIous'', were not aired on VH1 Brasil, yet they did air on its sister network, VH1 Latin America. Paramount Network is a brand of several television channels operated by Paramount International Networks that showcase the Paramount Pictures film catalogue, and selected TV series from Paramount Global's television productions. ''Pop Up Video'' is a VH1 television show that shows music videos annotated via "pop-up" bubbles — officially called "info nuggets" — containing trivia and witticisms relating to the video in question. The show was created by Woody Thompson and Tad Low and premiered October 27, 1996. For a time, it was the highest- rated program on VH1, though ''Behind the Music'' overtook it by 1998. It was originally produced by Spin the Bottle Inc., and later by Eyeboogie Inc. during its original run. In October 2011, ''Pop Up Video'' was revived by VH1, featuring new videos with new trivia and commentary. The revived production was continued by Eyeboogie Inc. ''Audrina'' is an American reality television series that originally aired on VH1 from April 17, 2011, until June 19, 2011. The series aired one season and focuses on the lives of Audrina Patridge, who came to prominence as a cast member on '' The Hills'', and her family. The show focuses on the lives of several women residing in the New York City borough of Staten Island, whose family members and husbands have been arrested and imprisoned for crimes that are connected to the American Mafia. SKY Brasil is a company, owned by Vrio, which operates a subscription television service in Brazil. It produces TV content, and owns several TV channels. History SKY Mexico was founded on 25 July 1996, a joint venture between British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB), News Corporation, Liberty Media and Grupo Televisa and was later launched on 15 December 1996. ''Next'' is a dating game show produced by Kallissa Miller with her production company Kallissa Productions, which ran on MTV from 2005 to 2008. Format ''Next'' dealt with a contestant going on sequential blind dates with possibly up to five other single people, known as "the daters", who were secluded on a RV, referred to as the "Next Bus". The added twist was that the date could end at any time by the contestant shouting "next". Each episode featured two segments, featuring a single man or woman as the prime contestant, and five other single men or women as the daters. The segment began with the prime contestant describing themselves to the audience.
