Morro da Igreja ( "Hill of the Church") is a peak situated in Urubici, a municipality of the Santa Catarina state, in southern Brazil. Its latitude is 28º07'31" S and its longitude is 49º29'38" W, with an elevation of 1,822 metres (5,977 feet), the highest inhabited point and the second most elevated of this state. This peak registered the lowest (unofficial) temperature in Brazil: -17.8 °C (0 °F), on June 29, 1996. It is considered the coldest place in this country; tourism is popular in the winter, when snowfalls can occur. São Joaquim
São Joaquim is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina, situated in southern Brazil. It is located at latitude 28° 17' 38" south and longitude 49° 55' 54" west, with an altitude of . Its population in 2020 was 27,139 inhabitants. Located in the Planalto Serrano, it lies from Tubarão, from Lages and from Florianópolis. The town is home to a variety of ethnic groups, including Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Afro-Brazilians. Tubarão
Tubarão (lit. "shark") is a Brazilian Municipalities of Brazil, municipality located in southern part of Santa Catarina (state), Santa Catarina state. The population, according to the IBGE/2020 estimate was 106,422. It is the main city of the Tubarão River Drainage basin, basin region, which comprises 20 municipalities and a population of 350,000 inhabitants. Lages is a Brazilian municipality located in the central part of the state of Santa Catarina, in the region known in Portuguese as "Planalto Serrano".
