Urpo Sivula (born 15 March 1988) is a Finnish professional volleyball player. During the 2008 season he played in the Finland Volleyball league team Pielaveden Sampo. Sivula plays wing-spiker. Junior years Sivula started his career with his friends at seven years old. His first team was Kurun Ryhti, from Kuru. Soon his talent began to be recognized and Sivula started to play in Virtain Veikot, where he won two Finland Junior Championships. When Sivula turned sixteen he moved to Kuortane. There he started study and training with the best junior players in Finland. For two years he lived in Kuortane and played third highest level in Finland during the 2004–2005 season, and second highest level in Finland during the 2005–2006 season. He became Finland's junior team captain in 2004, and also he played on the Finland national team with boys two years older than he. Kuru, Finland
Kuru is a former municipality of Finland, now part of the town of Ylöjärvi. Kuru is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. Kuru lies north of Tampere. The municipality had a population of 2,782 and covered an area of 820.48 km² of which 103.53 km² is water. The population density was 3.4 inhabitants per km². The service industry is the primary employer for the area. Kuru was consolidated with the town of Ylöjärvi on January 1, 2009. The municipality was unilingually Finnish. Approximately two-thirds of the Seitseminen national park is located in the municipality and represents the number one attraction for the area. Team Lakkapää (formerly Perungan Pojat and Rovaniemen Santasport) is a professional volleyball team from Rovaniemi, Finland. The team played three seasons in Finland volleyball league, the country's highest level. They won two league championships in 2007 and 2008. Simo-Pekka Olli
Simo-Pekka Olli (born November 13, 1985) is a professional volleyball player from Finland. He has played three seasons in Italy A1-league. Sempre Volley Padova was his club years 2005–2008. After that he came back to Finland because he must perform military service. In Finland military service is mandatory for all men. Career Olli started his career as a fourteen-year-old in Varkaus. First he played middle-blocker but the youth national teams coach saw his good set and moved him to setter. His first season in Finland Champion league was 2004–2005. He played in Raision Loimu where he won Finland Cup-Champion and became 4th place in the league. In Raisio Loimu played at the same time as brothers Mikko and Matti Oivanen.
