Uri Giné
Uri Giné (; born Oriol Giné de Lera; August 24, 1986) is a Spanish musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the founder, lead singer and songwriter of the alternative rock band Bongo Botrako from their formation in 2007 until their indefinite hiatus announcement in 2015. Early life Giné, the second of three children, was born and raised in Tarragona, Spain, a city just south of Barcelona. His mother, Maria José de Lera, is a nurse, and his father, Josep Giné, is a retired software developer. His younger sister, Alba, died at only ten months old from a heart malfunction, when Giné was 3. Some of his songs focus on the loss of his sister. Giné grew up listening to his older sister, Celia, practise the piano for hours daily, but even though she and his parents tried to encourage him to play an instrument since he was young, he was reluctant for many years. Tarragona (, ; Phoenician: ''Tarqon''; la, Tarraco) is a port city located in northeast Spain on the Costa Daurada by the Mediterranean Sea. The Spain men's national basketball team ( es, Selección Española de Baloncesto) represents Spain in international basketball competitions. They are managed by the Spanish Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Spain. Spain is the current World and European champion. Parkpop
The Parkpop festival is a free music festival held annually on the last Sunday of June in the city of The Hague, Netherlands. It was first held in 1981 and was attended by 35,000 visitors. Today up to 350,000 people visit the festival every year. Parkpop held the title for the largest free pop festival in Europe for a long time. However, other festivals also claim this title. Przystanek Woodstock in Poland and Austria's Donauinselfest now claim to be the second biggest music festival in Europe, second only to Radio 1's Big Weekend in the United Kingdom. Lowlands (festival)
A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise (commonly called Lowlands or Lowlands Festival), is an annual three-day music and performing arts festival, held in the Netherlands. The festival is held east of Amsterdam in Biddinghuizen, at Spijk en Bremerberg, which is adjacent to Walibi Holland. Although the main focus is on music - rock, pop, dance, hip hop and alternative - Lowlands also offers indoor and outdoor cinema, (street) theatre, cabaret and stand-up, ballet, literature and comic strips. In recent years, the festival is attended by around 55,000 visitors, and features over 200 acts on more than ten stages every year which are named according to the NATO phonetic alphabet apart from the Heineken stage (named after the beer brewer Heineken, the main sponsor of the festival since 2015). EuroBasket 2011 was the 37th men's EuroBasket, European Basketball Championship, held by FIBA Europe. The competition was hosted by Lithuania. This was the second time EuroBasket had been held in Lithuania, the country having also hosted the EuroBasket 1939, 1939 championship.
