Parkpop
The Parkpop festival is a free music festival held annually on the last Sunday of June in the city of The Hague, Netherlands. It was first held in 1981 and was attended by 35,000 visitors. Today up to 350,000 people visit the festival every year. Parkpop held the title for the largest free pop festival in Europe for a long time. However, other festivals also claim this title. Przystanek Woodstock in Poland and Austria's Donauinselfest now claim to be the second biggest music festival in Europe, second only to Radio 1's Big Weekend in the United Kingdom. The 31st edition of Parkpop was held on Sunday 26 June 2011. Moke (Amsterdam Band)
Moke is a Dutch band from Amsterdam, which was founded in 2005. They published their debut album Shorland (album), Shorland in 2007. The band is most popular in the Netherlands, where they became commonly known after a performance in the daily television show 'De Wereld Draait Door'. Their single "This Plan" is used by Toyota in the commercial for the Toyota Yaris, Yaris. They performed at several festivals, like ''London Calling'', A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise, Lowlands and Pinkpop Festival, Pinkpop. They also were the supporting act of Paul Weller (singer), Paul Weller, Keane (band), Keane, Razorlight and Amy Macdonald (singer), Amy MacDonald. Seydou Koné (; born January 1, 1953 in Dimbokro), better known by his stage name Alpha Blondy, is an Ivorian reggae singer and international recording artist. Many of his songs are politically and socially motivated, and are mainly sung in his native language Dyula, French and English, though he occasionally uses other languages, for example, Arabic or Hebrew. Live (, often typeset as LĪVE or +LĪVE+) is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, guitars), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), Chad Gracey (drums), and Chad Taylor (guitars). Ronnie Spector
Veronica Yvette Greenfield (; August 10, 1943 – January 12, 2022) was an American singer who co-founded and fronted the girl group The Ronettes. She is sometimes referred to as the original "bad girl of rock and roll". Ronnie formed the singing group with her older sister, Estelle Bennett, and their cousin, Nedra Talley in the late 1950s. They were signed to Phil Spector's Philles label in 1963 and he produced the majority of their recording output. Kelis Rogers-Mora (; born August 21, 1979), known mononymously as Kelis, is an American singer, songwriter and a professionally trained chef. At age 14, she was admitted to New York's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she learned to play the saxophone and won a spot in the Girls Choir of Harlem. After she graduated from high school in 1997, Kelis took on a variety of jobs before landing a backup vocal slot on an album track called "Fairytalez", released by the American hip hop group Gravediggaz. The Kooks
The Kooks () are an English pop-rock band formed in 2004 in Brighton. The band consists of Luke Pritchard (vocals/rhythm guitar), Hugh Harris (lead guitar/synthesizer/bass) and Alexis Nunez (drums). Johan is a Dutch band fronted by singer/guitarist Jacco de Greeuw. Their music has been primarily influenced by bands such as The Beatles, Crowded House, and The Byrds.
