Ural State University of Economics (USUE, russian: УрГЭУ) is a major Russian university situated in Ekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast. History It was created on 10 October 1967 as '' Sverdlovsk institute of national economy'' (russian: СИНХ) on the basis of a faculty of Ural State University and Sverdlovsk branch of Moscow Institute of the National Economy. Nowadays it specialises on educating students in a large variety of professions. Sverdlovsk Oblast
Sverdlovsk Oblast ( rus, Свердловская область, Sverdlovskaya oblast) is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia located in the Ural Federal District. Its administrative center is the city of Yekaterinburg, formerly known as Sverdlovsk. Its population is 4,297,747 (according to the 2010 Census). Geography Most of the oblast is spread over the eastern slopes of the Middle and North Urals and the Western Siberian Plain. Only in the southwest does the oblast stretch onto the western slopes of the Ural Mountains. The highest mountains all rise in the North Urals, Konzhakovsky Kamen at and Denezhkin Kamen at . The Ural State University (russian: Урáльский госудáрственный университéт и́мени А.М. Гóрького, , often shortened to USU, УрГУ) is a public university located in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russian Federation. Manfred Kohrs
Manfred Kohrs (born 24 January 1957) is a German tattooist and conceptual artist, who has been tattooing since 1974. He was a student of Horst Streckenbach ("Tattoo Samy") (5 August 1926 – 27 June 2001). Together they developed the barbell piercing in 1975. Kohrs invented a rotary tattoo machine with main part an electric motor and an ink reservoir. In 1977 Kohrs founded the first German Tattoo Artist Association. He gave up tattooing in 1990 and began studying economics. Since completing his economics degree in 1996, he has served as tax consultant and Certified Public Accountant (GER). Alla Viktorovna Shekhovtsova (russian: Алла Викторовна Шеховцова; born 2 November 1964 in Sverdlovsk) is a Russian figure skating judge and ISU Technical Specialist and a former ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee member; a former ice dancer, the wife of Valentin Piseev who used to be the general director of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia.
