Universidad Station (Medellín)
Universidad is the seventh station on line A of the Medellín Metro. It is located in the eastern part of Medellín. The station is located in an area of great academic, cultural and scientific importance and a site of great confluence of routes to different parts of the city because its proximity to the University of Antioquia and metropolitan areas such the Botanical Garden of Medellín and Barefoot Park. Universidad Metro Station (San Nicolás De Los Garza)
The Universidad Station () is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the Alfonso Reyes Avenue. This station is next to the campus of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL – from which it takes its name), and it sees heavy traffic of students on a daily basis. The station is also the nearest to the Estadio Universitario, the home venue of the UANL Tigres. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station's logo represents the flame and atoms that appear in the logo of the UANL. This station was inaugurated on October 31, 2007, as part of the first stage of the Line 2 expansion (along with Regina and Niños Heroes Stations). It was proposed during the 1990s to ease the crippling congestion when the Ministry of Public Works and Transport commissioned a study in 2001 into the feasibility of constructing a metro system in the city. Maracaibo Metro
The Maracaibo Metro, also known as ''Metro del Sol Amado'', is a six-station light rail system in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Service between La Vanega and El Varillal (skipping Urdaneta) opened to the public on 25 November 2006, with the last station on the line opened on 9 June 2009. The line encompasses the suburbs of Maracaibo and Maracaibo itself as drop-off point. Also one station is a transfer point between rail services provided by IAFE.
