Union Of Informed Citizens
The Union of Informed Citizens (UIC) ( hy, Իրազեկ քաղաքացիների միավորում, translit=Irazek k’aghak’ats’ineri miavorum) is an Armenian non-governmental organization. Founded in 2014, the UIC is headquartered in Yerevan and operates a satellite office in Stepanakert. The organization promotes the advancement of electoral integrity, reforms, freedom of the press, democracy, and human rights in Armenia while also combating misinformation. Objectives The Union of Informed Citizens was founded in 2014 as an NGO. The organization seeks to improve human rights in Armenia, promote democratic reform and civil society, and combat misinformation. Artsakh elects on a national level a president and a parliament. The president is elected for a five-year term by the people. The National Assembly (''Azgayin Zhoghov'') has 33 members, 16 elected for a five-year term in single seat constituencies and 17 by proportional representation. Artsakh has a multi-party system, with numerous parties in which no one party often has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments. The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR; formally the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms) is an international convention to protect human rights and political freedoms in Europe. Piotr Antoni Świtalski (born 2 August 1957, in Kutno) is a Polish diplomat; permanent representative of Poland to the Council of Europe (2005–2010) and ambassador of the European Union to Armenia (2015–2019). Life Świtalski has graduated from Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw and Moscow State Institute of International Relations (1982). European Commission
The European Commission (EC) is the executive of the European Union (EU). It operates as a cabinet government, with 27 members of the Commission (informally known as "Commissioners") headed by a President. It includes an administrative body of about 32,000 European civil servants.
