A medium-capacity system (MCS), also known as light rapid transit or light metro, is a rail transport system with a capacity greater than light rail, but less than typical heavy-rail rapid transit. MCS’s trains are usually 1-4 cars, or 1 light rail vehicle (LRV). Most medium-capacity rail systems are automated or use light rail type vehicles. Light rail is considered high capacity as trains use 2-4 LRVs. Since ridership determines the scale of a rapid transit system, statistical modeling allows planners to size the rail system for the needs of the area. Persiaran Kewajipan is a major road in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The road connects from central Subang Jaya through USJ to Putra Heights near the city's south interchange at Damansara–Puchong Expressway E11 (LDP). UEP Subang Jaya (commonly called "USJ") is a major affluent township located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the Mukim (sub-district) of Damansara in the district of Petaling. History The construction of USJ started in 1988 after the completion of Subang Jaya (started in the 1970s). USJ consists of SS12 to SS19. In the late 1990s, many new developments were growing rapidly in USJ. Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd is the operator of the rapid transit (metro) system serving Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley area in Malaysia. Kelana Jaya Line
The LRT Kelana Jaya Line is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line and the first fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, Malaysia.
