Uzbekistan Boxing Federation ( uz, O`zbekiston Boks Federatsiyasi, russian: Федерация бокса Узбекистана) is the governing body of amateur Olympic-style boxing in Uzbekistan. It was founded on March 23, 1920. The Federation was re-founded in 1992 after dissolution of the USSR. The headquarters is located in Tashkent. Uzbekistan Boxing Federation is a member federation of National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is a member of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) and the Asian Boxing Council (ASBC). The International Boxing Association (IBA), previously known as the Association Internationale de Boxe Amateur (AIBA), is an independent sport organization that sanctions amateur (Olympic-style) boxing matches and awards world and subordinate championships.
