''Uyire Uyire'' () is a 2016 Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by A. Rajasekhar and produced by veteran actress Jaya Prada and former politician Amar Singh. The film, a remake of Vikram Kumar's 2012 Telugu film ''Ishq'', stars Jaya Prada's nephew Siddhu and Hansika Motwani. The film was released on 1 April 2016 to mixed reviews from critics. Jaya Prada Nahata (born Lalitha Rani; 3 April 1962) is an Indian actress and politician. She is hailed as one of the most iconic and influential actresses in both Telugu and Hindi film industries in late '70s, '80s and early '90s. Yukta Inderlal Mookhey is an Indian civic activist and the winner of Miss World 1999. She is the fourth Indian woman to win Miss World and was previously crowned as Femina Miss India World in 1999.
