Urgh! (band)
Urgh! is a Serbian grindcore/alternative rock band from Belgrade. History 1990s The band was formed in January 1991 in Belgrade as grindcore quartet. With heavy rotation on bass default members were Dragoslav Ružić "Guru Ghagi" (vocals), Ðorđe Smiljanić "Djolle"(guitar) and Dejan Stanisavljević "Stanna" (drums). The band got the name from a typical onomatopoeic word ''URGH!'' frequently used in comicbooks. Their debut recordings, the tracks "Acid Rain" and "Paradise Town", appeared on the various artists compilation album ''Tito nikada više'' (''Tito Nevermore''), released by Intermusic in 1992. During the same year, they appeared on the split album ''Yonuss Tape'', also featuring the Belgrade girl band PMS, with the prominent tracks "Acid Rain", "Paradise Town", "Let's See What You Give", "Zašto vrištiš?" Idoli ( sr-cyr, Идоли; trans. The Idols) were a Serbian new wave band from Belgrade. They are considered to be one of the most notable acts of the Yugoslav rock scene, and their 1982 album ''Odbrana i poslednji dani'' was on several occasions voted by the music critics as the greatest Yugoslav rock album. Pomoć, Pomoć
"Pomoć, pomoć" ("Help, Help") is the first song which appeared on the first single by Serbian new wave band Idoli. The song, with "Retko te viđam sa devojkama" appeared on the A-side while the B-side contained Slobodan Škerović's narrative poem called "Poklon". The song was performed live by the band for a very short time and there are no cover versions of the song. Šaban Bajramović
Šaban Bajramović ( sr-Cyrl, Шабан Бајрамовић, ; rom, Shaban Bajramovičh; 16 April 1936 – 8 June 2008), nicknamed Šabi (Шаби), was a Serbian vocalist and recording artist of Arlije Romani ethnicity. Vladimir "Vlada" Divljan ( sr-Cyrl, Владимир "Влада" Дивљан; 10 May 1958 – 4 March 2015), was a Serbian singer and songwriter. He was known as the frontman of the Serbian and Yugoslav rock band Idoli, one of the bands which initiated the Yugoslav new wave on the music and cultural scene of Yugoslavia in the 1980s, as well as for his solo works. Early career Early activity Divljan got interested in music in 1968, after a Drago Diklić concert in Tučepi, a seaside resort where he went on a holiday with his family. Misfits (band)
The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the pioneers of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. Dead Ideas
Dead Ideas were a Serbian hardcore punk/crossover thrash band from Belgrade. History The band was formed in 1990 by bassist and vocalist Darko Marković, however, after their first live appearance, the band disbanded. The following year, on January, with the female vocalist Jelena Komnenić and guitarist Nemanja Kojić, Marković reformed the band, soon being joined by the drummer Igor Škoro. On April of the same year, the band recorded four songs at the Belgrade Focus studio, released on their debut 7" extended play ''Welcome To The Abyss'' by the indie record label Start Today Records. During May 1992, the band recorded eight new songs at the ''M'' studio in Novi Sad, but the recordings were not released due to the band not being able to find a record label.
