Urddalsknuten or Urdalsknuten is a mountain that lies on the border of the municipalities of Sirdal and Valle in Agder county, Norway. The mountain is located in the Setesdalsheiene mountain range. The mountain lies about west of the village of Valle. The lakes Botnsvatnet, Kolsvatnet, and Rosskreppfjorden surround the mountain to the northeast and south and the mountain Bergeheii lies directly to the north. Sirdal is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the northwestern part of the traditional district of Lister. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Tonstad. Other villages in Sirdal include Bjørnestad, Haughom, Kvæven, Lunde, and Tjørhom. Rosskreppfjorden
Rosskreppfjorden is a lake in Norway. The lake lies on the border between the municipalities of Valle and Sirdal in Agder county. The lake is part of the Kvina river system and has a hydroelectric power plant in a dam on the south end of the lake. The dam keeps the lake at an elevation of about above sea level. The lake flows south into the Øyarvatnet lake. Rosskreppfjorden is located about southwest of the village of Valle and about east of the village of Lysebotn. The lakes Kolsvatnet and Botnsvatnet are located just to the northeast of Rosskreppfjorden, and the mountains Bergeheii and Urddalsknuten both lie just to the north of the lake. Setesdalsheiene
Setesdalsheiene () is the collective term for the mountains to the west and east of the Setesdalen valley in Agder county in Southern Norway. The river Otra flows through the valley between the mountains. This area is primarily located in the municipalities of Bykle, Valle, Bygland, Evje og Hornnes, Sirdal, Kvinesdal, and Åseral. The vast Hardangervidda plateau lies to the north and the Ryfylkeheiene mountains lie to the west. The Setesdal Vesthei - Ryfylkeheiane Landscape Protection Area (The Norwegian version of a Zakaznik) covers which includes the western parts of Setesdalsheiene. Agder
Agder is a county (''fylke'') and traditional region in the southern part of Norway. The county was established on 1 January 2020, when the old Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder counties were merged. Since the early 1900s, the term Sørlandet ("south country, south land, southland") has been commonly used for this region, sometimes with the inclusion of neighbouring Rogaland.
