Urdaneta Cathedral
Urdaneta Cathedral ( fil, Katedral ng Urdaneta), formally referred to as the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish ( fil, Parokyang Katedral ng Mahal na Birhen ng Kalinis-linisang Paglilihi), is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church located in the city of Urdaneta, Pangasinan in the Ilocos Region of the Philippines. Situated at Barangay Poblacion of Urdaneta, it is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Urdaneta and is dedicated to Mary under the title of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. History Prior to the founding of Urdaneta as a municipality, its present-day Poblacion was initially settled by residents and families from Villasis, Santa Barbara and Manaoag by the close of the 17th century. Migrants from Ilocos and La Union from the north also resettled in the area. Malasiqui, officially the Municipality of Malasiqui ( pag, Baley na Malasiqui; ilo, Ili ti Malasiqui; tgl, Bayan ng Malasiqui), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. In the Southwestern United States, Pueblo (capitalized) refers to the Native tribes of Puebloans having fixed-location communities with permanent buildings which also are called pueblos (lowercased).
