Unsere Schönsten Jahre
''Unsere schönsten Jahre'' is a German television series that originally aired from 1983 and 1985. Set in Munich, the show revolves around Elfi Ortlieb and Raimund Sommer, a newly in love couple. As Uschi Glas and Elmar Wepper also portray a married couple on ''Polizeiinspektion 1'' and '' Zwei Münchner in Hamburg'', they were considered one of German television's supercouples in the 1980s. Like previously on the highly successful '' Monaco Franze'' and later on ''Die Hausmeisterin'', Helmut Fischer again plays the "suburban womanizer", his signature role. Uschi Glas
Helga Ursula "Uschi" Glas (; born 2 March 1944), sometimes credited as Ursula Glas, is a German actress in film, television and on stage, and a singer. Biography Born in Landau an der Isar, Bavaria, Glas started appearing in films in 1965. Her breakthrough role was that of Barbara in the unconventional 1968 movie ''Go for It, Baby'' (''Zur Sache, Schätzchen''), which captured the spirit of the times in that it presented youthful protest against the German establishment and hinted at the loosening of morals in the wake of the sexual revolution. From then on, the tabloid press would refer to Glas frequently as ''Schätzchen'' (). In the late '60s and early '70s, Glas appeared in many slapstick movies, notably in three films of the seven-part series (1967–72) ' (''The Brats on the Front Bench Row''). Supercouples
A supercouple or super couple (also known as a power couple) is a popular and/or wealthy pairing that intrigues and fascinates the public in an intense or obsessive fashion. The term originated in the United States, and it was coined in the early 1980s when intense public interest in fictional soap opera couple Luke Spencer and Laura Webber, from ''General Hospital'', made the pair a popular culture phenomenon. The term ''supercouple'' typically refers to fictional couples from television dramas and film, such as ''Gone with the Wind''s Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara. With regard to real-life pairings, tabloids and the mainstream media have focused on wealthy or popular celebrity couples, and have titled them supercouples or power couples. Examples are the pairing of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez (which became known by the portmanteau "Bennifer"), and the former relationship of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ("Brangelina").
