Unseen (The Haunted Album)
''Unseen'' is the seventh studio album by Swedish metal band the Haunted, released on 16 March 2011. The album begins to experiment with a more rock-influenced alternative metal sound mixed with their usual groove metal and melodic death metal sound. While in the process of creating the album, vocalist Peter Dolving, in an interview, predicted, "It's going to be epic. Danceable. Groovy. And very very arty farty metal. With this next record we are going to be taking a piss in the general direction of all the crappy 99.9 percent of generic contemporary Mr. Goatse jerks out there". The album cover and track list were revealed on 28 January 2011. The cover was done by Frode Sylthe, a friend of the band, who also did the cover to their 2004 album ''Revolver''. The band has said that they "really like his design aesthetic, and he seems to come up with something unique every single time". The Haunted (Swedish Band)
The Haunted is a Swedish heavy metal band from Gothenburg, formed in 1996. The original members were Anders and Jonas Björler, Peter Dolving, Adrian Erlandsson and Patrik Jensen. Both of the Björler brothers and Erlandsson were members of the seminal melodic death metal band At the Gates, a pioneering force in the Swedish death metal scene. Anders Björler
Anders Björler (born 26 February 1973) is a Swedish musician, composer and film director. He is best known as the guitar player in the metal bands The Haunted and At the Gates, alongside his bass-playing twin brother Jonas Björler. Björler has also directed, edited and produced music videos, documentaries and in-the-studio features for bands such as In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and Meshuggah, as well as his own bands. Jonas Fredrik Björler (born 26 February 1973) is a Swedish musician and the bass player of the melodic death metal bands At the Gates and The Haunted. Patrik Jensen
Patrik Jensen (born 24 November 1969) is a Swedish guitarist and co-founder of the bands, The Haunted (1996-present), and Witchery (1997-present), and also the former guitarist of the bands Orchriste (1987-1990), Seance (1990-1995) Satanic Slaughter (1994-1996) and Brujeria (1997). Bandit Rock
Bandit Rock is a Sweden, Swedish radio station which plays rock (music), rock, punk (music), punk and heavy metal (music), heavy metal. The station, now a part of the Nordic Entertainment Group, was founded by American ex-pat Thomas McAlevey and began broadcasting in Stockholm in 1994. Under McAlevey's leadership, Bandit Radio, “The Rock Home of Stockholm”, quickly achieved cult status.
