Unplugged (Kerber Album)
''Unplugged'' is the second live album by Serbian and Yugoslav hard rock band Kerber, released in 1998. Originally released as two separate audio cassettes, the album was released on single CD in 1999. Recording and release The album was recorded on Kerber's unplugged concert held in Studio M in Novi Sad in January 1996. The album was originally released on two separate limited edition audio cassettes on Take It or Leave It Records in 1998. They contained the tracks "Nikad ponovo" ("Never Again") and "Svet se brzo okreće" ("The World Is Turning Fast"), which did not appear on the CD releases. In 1999, 13 songs from two audio cassettes were self-released by the band on CD. In 2006, Take It or Leave It reissued the CD with "Sutrašnji dan" ("Tomorrow's Day") as a bonus track. ''Unplugged'' was the band's second and last album recorded with bass guitarist Saša Vasković, acoustic guitar player Vladan Stanojević and percussionist Goran Đorđević. Kerber
Kerber ( sr-cyr, Кербер, lit=Cerberus) is a Serbian and Yugoslav hard rock band formed in Niš in 1981. The mainstay members of Kerber are vocalist Goran Šepa "Gale", guitarist Tomislav "Tomica" Nikolić and keyboardist Branislav "Bane" Božinović. The band's debut album, released in 1983, brought them nationwide popularity. Throughout the 1980s Kerber was one of the top acts of the Yugoslav hard rock scene, with a number of their songs becoming hits, especially their power ballads with poetic lyrics written by lyricist Duško Arsenijević. Their sound has evolved from heavy rock on their debut album towards melodic hard rock on their other 1980s releases. The band released their latest studio album in 1996 and during the 2000s performed occasionally only. In early 2010s the band returned to live performances. Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Acoustic string instrumentations had long been a subset of popular music, particularly in folk. Zapis (album)
'' Zapis'' (trans. ''Inscription'') is the sixth and latest studio album from Serbian and Yugoslav hard rock band Kerber, released in 1996. Background and recording ''Zapis'' was recorded after the hiatus in the band's work caused by the outbreak of the Yugoslav Wars. It was recorded from October to December 1995 in PGP-RTS Studio V and produced by Vladimir Negovanović. All the album lyrics were written by the band's old associate Duško Arsenijević, ''Zapis'' being Kerber's second album to feature all the lyrics written by him, the first one being the band's fourth studio album, ''Ljudi i bogovi'' (''Humans and Gods''). The album was recorded with three new members, bass guitarist Saša Vasković (who came in as the replacement for Branko Isaković), acoustic guitar player Vladan Stanojević and percussionist Goran Đorđević. SFR Yugoslavia
The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
