Uno Vallman (Norrala, 24 March 1913 – Stockholm, 5 September 2004) was a Swedish painter. Vallman studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm and developed a colourful naivist style of painting under the influence of Isaac Grünewald and Sven Erixson. His breakthrough came with the Ung konst ("Young art") exhibition in Stockholm in 1947. Uno Ullberg
Uno Werner Ullberg (15 February 1879 in Viipuri – 12 January 1944 in Helsinki) was a famous Finnish architect. Background Educated in Helsinki, Ullberg returned to his home town Viipuri in 1906. He drew most of his buildings in Viipuri, but during the last years of his life also in Finland's capital Helsinki. Viipuri belonged until 1809 to the Kingdom of Sweden. During 1809–1917 it was a part of the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland. It was the second largest city of independent Finland as of 1917. After being conquered by the Soviet Union's red army in both 1940 during the Winter War and then again in 1944 during the Continuation War, it then became a part of the Soviet Union under the Russian name Vyborg after the 1947 peace treaty in Paris, France. Uno Ugandi
Uno Ugandi (22 June 1931 Tallinn – 18 May 2020) was an Estonian physician and politician. From 1962 until 1968, Ugandi worked as a surgeon on the island of Saaremaa. From 1968 until 1977, he was a surgeon at the Rapla District Central Hospital, becoming the head of the department in 1973. From 1977 to 1990, he worked as the head of the surgery department of Paide District Central Hospital. He was a member of Supreme Council of the Republic of Estonia. Uno Troili
Gustaf Uno Troili (16 January 1815 – 31 August 1875) was a Swedish portrait painter and musician. Biography He was born in Ransäter. He was a member of the priestly family with a lineage dating back to the 16th century. He showed an early aptitude for music and art and began preparatory studies at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in 1827. He became a full-time student in 1835 and was introduced to the local intelligentsia at the home of his uncle, the poet and philosopher Erik Gustaf Geijer. In 1837, he became a "furir" in the Värmland Rifle Corps and was promoted to Lieutenant in 1844. While in service, he studied with his cousin, Captain (1797–1875), a part-time painter of little note. Uno Von Troil
Uno von Troil (24 February 1746 in Stockholm – 1803) was the Church of Sweden Archbishop of Uppsala 1786–1803. Biography He was the son of Samuel Troilius, who had also been archbishop. He was known for great wit at a young age. After studies and travels abroad to the Netherlands, Göttingen, and Iceland (accompanied by James Lind, Joseph Banks, Daniel Solander and others), he returned home and was ordained priest in 1773. In 1775 he was appointed court chaplain. He married in 1776. In 1778 he became vicar of Storkyrkan church in Stockholm. In 1780 he was consecrated bishop of Linköping. He was appointed as archbishop in 1786, at the age of 40. As such, he was also the Speaker of the Clergy in the Riksdag of the Estates until his death. Uno Svenningsson (born 1 July 1959 in Hagelstorp, Sweden) is a Swedish pop singer-songwriter and guitarist, who has been active in music since the late 1970s. Per Uno Agathon Röndahl (19 September 1924 – 10 October 2011) was a Swedish police officer and author. Uno Röndahl’s writings centered on Scanian history and especially the war events taking place in the province of Skåne and in particular in the border areas between contemporary Danish Skåne/Blekinge and Swedish Småland during the period 1645-1720. Uno Prii (February 28, 1924 – November 27, 2000) was an Estonian-born Canadian architect. He designed approximately 250 buildings, many in Toronto, but also around southern Ontario and the United States. Some of his best-known works are apartment buildings in The Annex neighbourhood of Toronto, featuring outlines that make sweeping curves. These include The Vincennes at 35 Walmer Road (built 1966), Prince Arthur Towers at 20 Prince Arthur Avenue (1968), Brazil Towers at 485 Huron Street, and 44 Walmer Road (1969).
