Macau is a city of tourism with a multicultural blend which provides a broad sense and international perspective for its college students. Macau or Macao (; ; ; ), officially the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (MSAR), is a city and special administrative region of China in the western Pearl River Delta by the South China Sea. Macau Security Force
The Macau Security Force (, ) is Macau's public security body under the Secretariat for Security, responsible for handling government activities ranging from law enforcement to public safety. History In 1975, the MSF was created to take the place of the Macau Independent Territorial Command, which was in charge of Portuguese military forces in charge of the colony's military security. Portuguese military involvement were removed in 1995 and were replaced by Macanese officers recruited to the MSF. Education In Macau
Most of the schools in Macau are private or subsidized schools. As of the 2015-2016 school year, there were 74 primary and secondary schools that provided formal education, including ten public schools and 64 private schools. Of the schools all but ten were a part of Macau's free education network. many of the schools in Macau are operated by Catholic organizations. A basic 15 years compulsory, free education, is offered to those pupils who have been enrolled at the schools which have met certain requirements stipulated by the government. Moreover, the majority of the schools in Macau are grammar schools, which offer language learning, mathematics, science subjects, social studies, etc. to the pupils. Hospital Kiang Wu
Kiang Wu Hospital (KWH; ) is a privately owned hospital located in Santo António, Macau. It is one of the three hospitals in Macau. Founded in 1871, the hospital is run by the Kiang Wu Charitable Association and offered Chinese medical services. Renowned doctor Sun Yat-Sen brought Western medicine services to the hospital. The hospital has had four different sites, the last built in 2000. Till 2019 there was no Western-style medical school in Macau, so all indigenous intending doctors have to either qualify overseas, or qualified doctors have to be brought in from outside.
