Universiteti I Prishtinës
The University of Pristina ( sq, Universiteti i Prishtinës) is a public university located in Pristina, Kosovo. It is the institution that emerged after the disestablishment of the University of Pristina (1969–99) as a result of the Kosovo War. The inauguration of the university was a historical occurrence not only for the people of Kosovo, but for the whole Albanian nation. On 15 February, the solemn Parliament session took place, which is also proclaimed as The University of Pristina's Day. In the composition of the newly established University of Pristina were faculties with their headquarters in Pristina: the Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Law and Economics, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine. Now the University of Pristina has 17 faculties, of which 14 are academic faculties, and 3 are faculties of applied sciences. Seal (emblem)
A seal is a device for making an impression in Sealing wax, wax, clay, paper, or some other medium, including an embossment on paper, and is also the impression thus made. Bujanovac
Bujanovac ( sr-cyr, Бујановац, ; sq, Bujanoc) is a town and municipality located in the Pčinja District of southern Serbia. Ibrahim Gashi
Ibrahim Gashi (born 6 April 1963, in Lapushnik village of Drenas Kosovo) is a Kosovar Albanian academic. He is a professor at the University of Pristina, and was a rector there between 2012 and 2014. Early life Ibrahim Gashi studied at the University of Pristina, and began working there as an assistant after his masters thesis defense between 1994 and 1998. He worked as a lecturer between 1998 and 2004 in the Department of History. In 2003 he earned a doctorate in political history of the Balkans in a three-year study program at the Institute for East European Studies of the University of Graz. In 2004 he was elected assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, UP, where he works as an associate professor of the History of International Relations and Foreign Policy and Diplomacy. Campus protest or student protest is a form of student activism that takes the form of protest at university campuses. Such protests encompass a wide range of activities that indicate student dissatisfaction with a given political or academics issue and mobilization to communicate this dissatisfaction to the authorities (university or civil or both) and society in general and hopefully remedy the problem. Koha Ditore
''Koha Ditore'' (trans. ''Daily Time'') is the leading daily newspaper in Kosovo. It is published by Koha Group and was founded and owned by politician Veton Surroi. His sister Flaka Surroi is now the publisher, following Veton Surroi's launch of his political career within the ORA reformist party. The newspaper initially published as a weekly magazine Koha, that ran from 1992 to 1994, becoming a leading weekly magazine in Kosovo. The initial team included new generation of opinion-makers such as Ylber Hysa, Baton Haxhiu, Dukagjin Gorani, Eqrem Basha, Shkelzen Maliqi, etc. The newspaper with the same name was published for the first time in 1997. ''Bota Sot'' (English: World Today) is a daily newspaper from Kosovo, originally published by members of the Kosovo diaspora in Switzerland. History ''Bota Sot'' is published by Media Print and is owned by Xhevdet Mazrekaj, a diaspora businessman. The newspaper was published for the first time in 1995, and initially solely published abroad.
