The United States House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (often shortened to House Select Committee on China or Select Committee on the CCP) is a committee of the United States House of Representatives established in the 118th Congress. The committee focuses on economic and security competition with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The committee is chaired by Representative Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin. Michael John Gallagher (born March 3, 1984) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for since 2017. His district covers the state's northeastern part.
