United Opposition Of Serbia
The United Opposition of Serbia ( sr, Удружена опозиција Србије, Udružena opozicija Srbije, UOPS) was a political coalition in Serbia. It was formed in August 2020 as the direct successor of Alliance for Serbia (SzS). The coalition included 11 parties and movements in total, including Đorđe Vukadinović as an independent individual. UOPS operated as a "confederation of political parties" and was the subject of inter-coalition conflicts that took place during its existence. It positioned itself as a coalition that opposed Aleksandar Vučić and sought to form a " democratic society" and free and fair elections, while it also supported the accession of Serbia to the European Union. The Alliance for Serbia ( sr, Савез за Србију, Savez za Srbiju) was a major extra-parliamentary catch-all opposition alliance of political parties in Serbia that was founded in September 2018. The alliance boycotted the 2020 parliamentary election, due to claims that the elections would not be held under fair conditions. The alliance officially dissolved in August 2020, as the new alliance called United Opposition of Serbia was formed. History Coalition was founded by Dragan Đilas in September 2018. Dveri
The Serbian Movement "Dveri" ( sr-Cyr, Српски покрет Двери, Srpski pokret Dveri), commonly just known as Dveri (), is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Serbia. It its currently led by Boško Obradović, who is one of the co-founders of the party. Formed as a youth-orientated political organization in 1999, it published an eponymous student magazine that promoted clerical and nationalist content. Through the 2000s, it operated as a non-governmental organization that campaigned in favor of Christian right views, that included opposition to abortion and opposition to gay rights. Zoran Lutovac
Zoran Lutovac ( sr-cyr, Зоран Лутовац; born 7 August 1964) is Serbian politician and former diplomat who has been the president of the Democratic Party since 2018. A former ambassador of Serbia to Montenegro between 2008 and 2013, he has been one of the vice-presidents of the National Assembly of Serbia since 2022. Nonviolence is the personal practice of not causing harm to others under any condition. It may come from the belief that hurting people, animals and/or the environment is unnecessary to achieve an outcome and it may refer to a general philosophy of abstention from violence. It may be based on moral, Religion, religious or spiritual principles, or the reasons for it may be strategic or pragmatic. Failure to distinguish between the two types of nonviolent approaches can lead to distortion in the concept's meaning and effectiveness, which can subsequently result in confusion among the audience. Marinika Tepić (; sr-Cyrl, Мариника Тепић, ; born 8 August 1974) is a Serbian politician. She is a vice-president of the Party of Freedom and Justice (''Stranka slobode i pravde'', SSP) and a prominent figure in the opposition to Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić. Tepić was Secretary for Sports and Youth in the Government of Vojvodina from 2012 to 2016 and a member of the National Assembly of Serbia from 2016 to 2020. Borko Stefanović (born 5 February 1974, born as Borislav Stefanović) is a Serbian politician who was the leader of the Levica Srbije political party. Prior to founding Levica Srbije, he was active in the Democratic Party in Serbia, with whom he engaged in a high-profile split in the summer of 2015. Zdravko Ponoš ( sr-cyrl, Здравко Понош; born 3 November 1962) is a Serbian politician, former diplomat, and retired general who served as chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces from 2006 to 2008. Born in Golubić, a village near Knin, Ponoš later moved to Zagreb, where he spent most of his youth and obtained a degree in electronic engineering.
