Unicorns N' Rainbows Tour
The Unicorns N' Rainbows Tour was a concert tour by American rap rock band Limp Bizkit. It took place mostly in Europe, visiting countries they never visited before, and extended into a short Asian leg as well, as well as one-off special appearance in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a UFC 100 performance was cancelled. Two German dates on the tour, in Hamburg and Dortmund, were supported by rap rock act Hollywood Undead. The tour marks the reunion of the band's original line-up ( Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, DJ Lethal and John Otto), as well as the release of a new album, the band's first since 2005's ''The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)''. The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)
''The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)'' is an EP by the American band Limp Bizkit, and their fifth major release overall. Released in 2005, it is the first release by the band to feature guitarist Wes Borland since he rejoined the group. He had left the band in 2001, and their previous album ''Results May Vary'', was recorded without him. Drummer John Otto was absent for much of the album, and Sammy Siegler took over drumming duties for the band. The EP differs from the band's established sound and lyrical subject matter by focusing on darker subjects and featuring a heavier, more experimental sound. The album's lyrics focus on subjects such as propaganda, Catholic sex abuse cases, terrorism and fame. Released without advertising and promotion, ''The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)'' sold 37,000 copies during its first week in the United States, peaking at No. 24 on the ''Billboard'' 200. It is the first single and tenth track on their third album, ''Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water'', and was released on July 3, 2000. The main riff of the song is derived from the original ''Mission: Impossible'' theme composed by Lalo Schifrin, however it deviates in its meter which is common time, except the bridge, which uses Schifrin's original time signature. "Behind Blue Eyes" is a song by English rock band the Who. It is the second single from the band's fifth album, ''Who's Next'' (1971), and was originally written by Pete Townshend for his '' Lifehouse'' project. The song is one of the Who's best-known recordings and has been covered by many artists, including Limp Bizkit. Background "Behind Blue Eyes" originated after a Who concert in Denver on 9 June 1970. Following the performance, Townshend became tempted by a female groupie, but he instead went back to his room alone, possibly as a result of the teachings of his spiritual leader, Meher Baba. "Re-Arranged" is a song by American rap rock band Limp Bizkit from their second studio album, ''Significant Other''. It was released as the band's second single from the album and was the band's only number one single on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock chart. Music video The music video opens with a clip of Oregon State Correctional Institution. The video portrays the band in prison cells at the beginning, where they are soon taken and put on trial for Woodstock 1999. They are found guilty, and the video shows them performing the last portion of the song from inside a metal container, as onlookers watch while milk pours into the container to drown the band.
