Una Da Aldeia River
The Una da Aldeia River ( pt, Rio Una da Aldeia) is a river in the south of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is a tributary of the Ribeira de Iguape River. Course The Una da Aldeia River originates in the municipality of Juquiá, São Paulo, near the BR-116 highway. In its upper course it is named the Itimirim River It flows in a southeast direction, roughly parallel to the SP-222 highway, entering the municipality of Iguape. It is joined by the Espraiado River from the left, which flows from the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Station. The Una da Aldeia River continues southeast and joins the Ribeira de Iguape River not far from that river's mouth on the Atlantic Ocean. Ribeira De Iguape River
The Ribeira de Iguape River ( pt, Rio Ribeira de Iguape), or simply the Ribeira River ( pt, Rio Ribeira), is a river of Paraná and São Paulo states in southeastern Brazil. It flows into the Atlantic Ocean near Iguape. The river is home to several endemic species of fish. So far no dams have been built on the river, although four have been proposed. Although it flows through a relatively sparsely populated region with untouched areas of Atlantic Forest, the river has been contaminated with heavy metals from mining beyond the point where it is considered safe to eat the molluscs found in the river and its estuary. The Espraiado River ( pt, Rio do Espraiado) is a river in the south of the state of São Paulo Brazil. It is a tributary of the Una da Aldeia River. Course The river originates in the municipality of Pedro de Toledo, São Paulo. It flows along the length of the Despraiado Sustainable Development Reserve and then across the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Station. BR-116 is a federal route of highways of Brazil and the longest highway in the country, with of extension. Iguape
Iguape is a municipality located into the Ribeira Valley in the southern portion of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is 30,989 (2020 estimate) in an area of , making it the largest municipality area in São Paulo state. The Juréia-Itatins Ecological Station ( pt, Estação Ecológica da Juréia-Itatins) is an ecological station (ESEC) in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
