Una-Sana
The Una-Sana Canton ( Serbian and / Унско-сански кантон; ) is one of the ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the northwest of the country and has been named after the rivers Una and Sana. The center of the cantonal government is Bihać. The canton is bordered by Republika Srpska from east, Canton 10 from southeast, and Croatia from south, west, and north. Municipalities It is divided into municipalities (usually eponymous with towns) of Bihać, Bosanska Krupa, Bosanski Petrovac, Bužim, Cazin, Ključ, Sanski Most and Velika Kladuša. Federation Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the two Political divisions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, entities within the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other being Republika Srpska. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of 10 autonomous Cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, cantons with their own governments and legislatures. Sanski Most ( sr-cyrl, Сански Мост, ) is a town and municipality located in the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated on the banks of the Sana River in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the region of Bosnian Krajina, Bosanska Krajina, between Prijedor and Ključ, Una-Sana Canton, Ključ. Cantons Of Bosnia
The ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the two political entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are its federal units with a high level of autonomy. The cantons were established by the Law on Federal Units (Cantons) on 12 June 1996 as a result of the Washington Agreement of 1994 between the representatives of the Bosnian Croats and Bosniaks. Una (Sava)
The Una ( sr-cyrl, Уна, ) is a border river between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia and a right tributary of the Sava river. It is part of the Black Sea drainage basin, and its watershed has a size of 10.200 km2, of which 8.080 km2 belongs to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 2.120 km2 to Croatia. Mustafa Ružnić
Mustafa Ružnić (born 25 May 1980) is a Bosnian politician who is the current Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton. He is a member of the People's European Union (NES). Ružnić studied in Cazin, then graduated in criminology at the University of Sarajevo. In 2016, he obtained a master's degree at the University of Banja Luka. He worked at the Una-Sana Canton employment agency. Bužim
Bužim ( sr-cyrl, Бужим) is a town and municipality located in Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated in the most northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Geography Bužim borders Bosanska Krupa to the east, Cazin to the south, Velika Kladuša to the west and north, and finally with the Republic of Croatia to the northeast. Ključ, Una-Sana Canton
Ključ ( sr-cyrl, Кључ, ) is a town and municipality located in the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name of the town and the municipality translates to "Key" in English. Geography It is located a short distance south from Sanski Most. The Sana River runs through the municipality. Cazin ( sr-cyrl, Цазин) is a city located in Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosanski Petrovac ( sr-cyrl, Босански Петровац) is a town and municipality located in the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013 census, the municipality has a population of 7,328 inhabitants, while the town has a population of 3,427 inhabitants. History The settlement has existed since Roman times. Bosanska Krupa ( sr-cyrl, Босанска Крупа) is a municipality located in the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013, it has a population of 29,659 inhabitants. It is situated on the banks of river Una in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, northeast from Bihać (350 km away from Sarajevo).
