Una-Sana Canton
The Una-Sana Canton ( Serbian and / Унско-сански кантон; ) is one of the ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the northwest of the country and has been named after the rivers Una and Sana. The center of the cantonal government is Bihać. The canton is bordered by Republika Srpska from east, Canton 10 from southeast, and Croatia from south, west, and north. Municipalities It is divided into municipalities (usually eponymous with towns) of Bihać, Bosanska Krupa, Bosanski Petrovac, Bužim, Cazin, Ključ, Sanski Most and Velika Kladuša. Hamdija Lipovača
Hamdija Lipovača (born 20 December 1976) is a Bosnian politician. He served as the Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton from 1 February 2011 until his forced resignation three years later, following the violent protests and riots in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lipovača was also the canton's Minister of Police. He previously served as the mayor of Bihać for six years beginning in 2004. Just as most politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he has been accused by civilians of corruption and was forced to resign during the protests in February 2014. Lipovača was arrested 17 December 2014 on charges of "abuse of office and forgery of documents." On 24 March 2015, Lipovača was sentenced to two months in prison, and served time until 8 April 2015 when he was released by authorities. No reason was given for the early release.
