Umuoba Anam is one of the villages of Anam (town) located in Anambra East Local Government Area, Anambra State in southeast Nigeria. Location Umuoba Anam is one of the three communities that make up Otuocha in Anambra East Local Government Area. The other two communities of Aguleri and Umuleri surround it on the north and south. The Anambra River (Ọnwụbala) borders Umuoba Anam on the west; the western part is called Umuoba Anam III. Anam Community is a mega community of eight villages located in Anambra West Local Government Area, Anambra State, bounded by three Historic Rivers, River Anambra (Ọmambala), River Niger and River Ezichi. Otuocha
Otuocha also known as Otuocha Umueri is a town and Headquarters of Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Umuleri
Umueri, also known and pronounced as Umuleri, is an ancient town in the Anambra State of Southeastern Nigeria. The people of Umueri belong to the Igbo ethnic group, and the town has an estimated population of 1,500,000. It is located within the Anambra Valley, bordered by the Anambra River (''Omabala'' River) and Anam communities in the north, Nteje to the south, Aguleri and Nando in the east and Nsugbe in the western flank. Anambra River
The Anambra River (Igbo: Ọmambala) flows into the Niger River and is found in Anambra, Nigeria. The river is the most important feeder of the River Niger below Lokoja.
