''Ultraman'' (stylized as ''ULTRAMAN'') is a Japanese manga series written by Eiichi Shimizu and drawn by Tomohiro Shimoguchi of ''Linebarrels of Iron'' fame. Published in ''Monthly Hero's'' since the magazine's inaugural issue. It is part of the Ultra Series, ''Ultraman'' franchise and a manga sequel of the Ultraman (1966 TV series), 1966 television series. The series has been collected in 18 ''tankōbon'' volumes as of April 2022. A 3DCG original net animation (ONA) anime adaptation co-produced by Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts was released on Netflix in April 2019. A second season was released in April 2022. A third and final season will be released in 2023. Ultraman (1966 TV Series)
is a Japanese ''tokusatsu'' science fiction television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya. It is a follow-up to '' Ultra Q'', though not technically a sequel or spin-off. Eiji Tsuburaya's production company, Tsuburaya Productions, produced 39 episodes (40, counting the pre-premiere special) that aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) and its affiliate stations from July 17, 1966, to April 9, 1967. Its premiere topped the average rating set by ''Ultra Q'' and kept climbing each week, marking the show as a success. Although ''Ultraman'' is the first series to feature an Ultraman character, it is the second installment in the Ultra Series, following ''Ultra Q''. This is symbolised by the Japanese show opening with the ''Ultra Q'' logo exploding into the ''Ultraman'' logo. is a Filipino-Japanese actress and singer. She was a member of Japanese idol girl group AKB48 and its spin-off unit Diva (Japanese band), Diva. Susumu Kurobe
(born ; 22 October 1939) is a television, film and stage actor from Kurobe, Toyama, Japan, widely known for his portrayal of Shin Hayata, the first Ultraman in the '' titular character series'', a role he has played since the original series in 1966 and many other times during the franchise. In 2005, he played chief Kenzo Tomioka in ''Ultraman Max''. He made his film debut with ''Akatsukino Gasho'' in 1963. Ultraman Dyna
is a Japanese tokusatsu TV show which aired from 5 September 1997 until 28 August 1998. It is a direct sequel to the previous Ultraman series, ''Ultraman Tiga'' and the 13th entry to the ''Ultra Series''. Takeshi Tsuruno
is a Japanese actor, tarento, and musician, originally from Moji-ku, Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka Prefecture. Ultraman (character)
is a fictional superhero who debuted in the pilot episode to his 1966 TV series of the same name, entitled "The Birth of Ultraman". He is the first ''tokusatsu'' hero launched by the ''Ultra Series'' and by extension, Tsuburaya Productions.
