Ulrich Van Den Berg
Ulrich van den Berg (born 13 January 1975) is a South African professional golfer. Van den Berg was born in East London. He had a successful amateur career which peaked in 1997 when he won the South African Amateur Strokeplay Championship, the Transvaal Amateur, and the Western Province Strokeplay Championship. He turned professional in 1999 and joined the Sunshine Tour. He has several tournament victories on the tour, all on the less lucrative "Winter Swing". Van den Berg played on the European Tour in 2008 having won his card at qualifying school at the end of 2007. Having been unable to play in more than 10 tournaments in his rookie season due to family reasons, he was granted a conditional card for 2009 on a medical exemption, but failed to win enough money to retain his playing status. Titch Moore
Trevor Richard "Titch" Moore (born 18 February 1976) is a South African professional golfer. He currently plays on the Sunshine Tour, where he has won seven times between 2000 and 2007. Moore was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He turned pro in 1997 and joined the Sunshine Tour in that same year. His best finish on the Order of Merit for the Sunshine Tour came in the 2004–05 season where he finished 4th. The 2013 Sunshine Tour was the 14th season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was relaunched in 2000, and the 7th since the tour switched a calendar-based season in 2007. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. The tour is based predominantly in South Africa with other events being held in neighbouring countries, including Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Zambia and Namibia. As usual, the tour consisted of two distinct parts, commonly referred to as the "Summer Swing" and the "Winter Swing". Tournaments held during the Summer Swing generally have much higher prize funds, attract stronger fields, and until 2012 were the only tournaments on the tour to carry world ranking points, with some events being co-sanctioned with the European Tour. The 2007 Sunshine Tour was the eighth season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was rebranded in 2000, and the marked the beginning of a new era as the tour switched to a calendar based season, having previously been seasonal. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. The tour was based predominantly in South Africa, with 24 of the 28 tournaments being held in the country. Two events were held in Swaziland, with one each in Zambia and Namibia. Lindani Ndwandwe
Lindani Ndwandwe (born 26 February 1975) is a South African professional golfer. Golf career Ndwandwe grew up in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal. He was introduced to the game by his brother Mandla who would use sticks and bottles as golf clubs and golf balls. He honed his skills as a caddie at Durban Country Club and Beachwood Golf Club. In 1997, Ndwandwe won two elite amateur events, the Natal Match Play and Natal Stroke Play events. He turned pro two years later and qualified for the Sunshine Tour in 2000. Peter Karmis
Peter Karmis (born 10 June 1981) is a Greek-South African professional golfer. Since July 2018, he has played under the Greek flag. In 2009 he became the first player in Sunshine Tour history to record a round of 59. Career Karmis played college golf at Purdue University. Karmis plays on the Sunshine Tour where he has won five times. He won the Lombard Insurance Classic in 2007 and 2009, the Sun Sibaya Challenge in 2016.
