Ulla-Lena Lundberg
Ulla-Lena Lundberg (born 14 July 1947, Kökar, Åland) is a Finland-Swedish author living in Porvoo, Finland. Her Swedish-language books have been translated into several languages, including Finnish, Danish, German, Russian and Dutch. Biography Lundberg made her debut at age 15 with the poetry anthology in 1962. In 1964, she spent some time in the United States on a scholarship. She subsequently wrote of her experiences in the US. Lundberg also wrote a book about Japan after living there in 1968. Her breakthrough is generally considered to be the 1976 book , a factual account of the past and present of her island of birth, told through the stories of some of the islanders. Espoo
Espoo (, ; sv, Esbo) is a city and municipality in the region of Uusimaa in the Republic of Finland. Erik Georg Ragnar Kruskopf (born 29 August 1930 in Helsinki) is a Swedish-speaking population of Finland, Finland-Swedish art critic, art historian and writer. He has also worked as among assistant director at the Finnish National Opera, editor at the Finnish newspaper ''Hufvudstadsbladet'' and art history professor at the University of Tromsø. He has written several books, among them ''Människan och målaren'' ("The Human and The Painter") (together with Ulla-Lena Lundberg), a biography of the painter Åke Hellman published until Hellman's 90th birthday in 2005, and several books about the artist and author Tove Jansson. Åke Fredrik Hellman (19 July 1915 – 18 December 2017) was a Swedish-speaking Finnish still life and portrait artist and art professor. He worked as art teacher at the University of Helsinki. In 1963, he received the order of the Lion of Finland. Åke Hellman was born in Helsinki, Grand Duchy of Finland. He was married to the painter Karin Hellman, née Wisuri, who was 11 days older, until her death on 25 February 2004. They met when studying together at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture 1934–1938, and have the son Karl-Johan (born 1944) and the daughter Åsa (born 1947) who is a ceramist. ''Människan och målaren'' ("The Human and the Painter"), a biography of Hellman written by Ulla-Lena Lundberg and Erik Kruskopf, was published until Hellman's 90th birthday in 2005. The Finlandia Prize ( fi, Finlandia-palkinto; sv, Finlandiaprisen) is a set of Finnish literary prizes awarded by the Finnish Book Foundation to "celebrate reading and highlight new Finnish first-rate literature." The Runeberg prize (Finnish: ''Runeberg-palkinto'', Swedish: ''Runebergspriset'') is a Finnish literature prize founded in 1987.
