Ukrainian Bandy And Rink Bandy Federation
Ukrainian Bandy and Rink bandy Federation (Ukrainian: Українська федерація хокею з м'ячем та рінк-бенді (УФХМР)) known by the abbreviation, "UBRF", is the governing body for the sports of bandy and rink bandy in Ukraine. The UBRF was founded in 2007 and is based in Dnipro. The federation became a member of the Federation of International Bandy (FIB) in 2008. In 2012 the organization made progress and developed its modern orientation towards the growth of bandy in the Ukraine. Within Ukraine, there are a number of regional bandy federations under the national federation. Since 2012, the national List of Ukrainian bandy champions, Ukrainian championship for bandy has been played every year. 2013 Bandy World Championship
The 2013 Bandy World Championship was an edition of the top annual event in international bandy, held between January 23 and February 3, 2013, in Norway and Sweden. 14 countries participated in the 2013 championships: Belarus, Finland, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, Sweden (group A), Canada, Estonia, Japan, Hungary, Latvia, the Netherlands, Ukraine and the United States (group B). 2016 Bandy World Championship
Bandy World Championship 2016, the XXXVI Bandy World Championship, was held with Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia, as host region. Most of the games was played at the Volga-Sport-Arena in Ulyanovsk. Because of its higher spectator capacity, the group stage matches between Russia and Sweden and between Russia and Kazakhstan were played at Trud Stadium, which also hosted one semi-final and the final. Some games were played in nearby Dimitrovgrad at Stadium Stroitel.
