Alina Ivanivna Komashchuk ( uk, Аліна Іванівна Комащук; born 24 April 1993) is a Ukrainian sabre fencer. Competing in team events, she is the 2013 World champion and 2016 Olympic silver medalist. Career In April 2013, Komashchuk won the gold medal in the Women's Sabre at the 2013 Junior and Cadet World Championship, held in the Croatian town of Poreč. On August 12, 2013 she won the Gold medal (with Olha Kharlan, Halyna Pundyk and Olena Voronina) at the Women's team sabre at the 2013 World Fencing Championships in Budapest, Hungary. The men's high jump competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil was held at the Olympic Stadium between 14–16 August. Forty-four athletes from 28 nations competed. The event was won by Derek Drouin of Canada, the nation's first victory in the men's high jump since 1932 (and second overall). Athletics at the 2016 Summer Olympics were held during the last 10 days of the games, from 12 to 21 August 2016, at the Olympic Stadium. The sport of athletics at the 2016 Summer Olympics was made into three distinct sets of events: track and field events, road running events, and racewalking events. Competition schedule Track and field events were held at João Havelange Olympic Stadium, while the race walks and marathon start and finish in Recreio dos Bandeirantes and Sambódromo, respectively. Apart from the race walks and marathon, ten track and field events held finals in the morning session for the first time since 1988. Wrestling at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro took place from 14 to 21 August at the Carioca Arena 2 in Barra da Tijuca. Wrestling had been split into two disciplines, Freestyle wrestling, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, Greco-Roman, which were further divided into different weight categories.
