Ugo Humbert
Ugo Humbert (; born 26 June 1998) is a French professional tennis player. He has achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 25 on 21 June 2021. He also has a career-high ATP doubles ranking of No. 361 achieved on 14 October 2019. Humbert has won three ATP titles, the first in January 2020, in Auckland, beating fellow Frenchman Benoit Paire in three sets. He won his second ATP title in Antwerp in October 2020, beating fellow Next Generation ATP Finals player Alex De Minaur in straight sets. He won his third title and first ATP 500 in June 2021 in Halle, beating world No. 7 Andrey Rublev in the final. At the 2018 US Open, Humbert made his Grand Slam singles debut as a qualifier. 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters – Singles
Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–3) to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters. He became the sixth player to win consecutive titles at the Monte-Carlo Masters in the Open Era. The win also earned him his second Masters 1000 title and his eighth career singles title overall. The ATP 500 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 500'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series Gold'', and ''ATP Championship Series'') are the fourth highest tier of annual men's tennis tournament after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, and the ATP Masters 1000. The series includes 13 tournaments, with 500 ranking points awarded for the events' singles champions – which accounts for the name of the series. Tournaments have various draws of 32 and 48 for singles and 16 and 24 for doubles. It is mandatory for leading players to enter at least four 500 events, including at least one after the US Open; if they play fewer than four, or fail to play in one after the US Open they get a "zero" score towards their world ranking for each one short. Alex de Minaur ( ; es, Álex de Miñaur Román, ; born 17 February 1999) is an Australian professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 15 on 28 June 2021 and a doubles ranking of No. 58 on 12 October 2020. Early life and junior career De Minaur was born in Sydney, Australia. Next Generation or Next Gen ATP Finals is an annual year-end men's youth exhibition tennis tournament for the best 21-and-under players of the season. Since its founding, the event has taken place in Milan, Italy. Ranking points, prize money and other features The tournament does not distribute points for the ATP rankings for the participants. The ATP does not count it as an official ATP Tour tournament victory, but matches count towards official win–loss season record. Prize money worth US $2,275,000 is distributed and counts to the players' totals. The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits – the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour.
