UVU Review
''UVU Review'' is the independent, student-run newspaper for Utah Valley University. The paper's name became official with its June 30, 2008 issue - the day before UVU officially became a university. The newspaper publishes weekly on Mondays during fall and spring semesters and fortnightly during the two summer semester blocks and typically runs with two sections, between twelve pages and sixteen pages using a broadsheet format, printed at MediaOne of Utah. The staff is student operated, receiving on-the-job training as well as attending national journalism conferences, both professional and collegiate The newspaper made reports across the country as the entire circulation run was reported as stolen from stands on campus. Utah Valley University (UVU) is a public university in Orem, Utah. UVU offers master's, bachelor's, associate degrees, and certificates. Previously called Utah Valley State College, the school attained university status in July 2008. History Central Utah Vocational School The school was founded in the fall of 1941, when the Utah State Vocational Office consolidated federal work program classes into one campus in Provo, just west of the campus of Brigham Young University. During the 2008 United States presidential election, newspapers, magazines, and other publications made general election endorsements. As of November 4, 2008, Barack Obama had received more than twice as many publication endorsements as John McCain; in terms of circulation, the ratio was more than 3 to 1, according to the detailed tables below.
