UTV Action (formerly Bindass Movies) was an Indian pay television movie channel that featured American animated and live-action Hollywood movies in Hindi dub. It also often aired some other country's films. It was based partly in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Initially launched as Bindass Movies, a youth-oriented Hindi movie channel, it was later rebranded as UTV Action in 2010. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video.
