The Museum for the United Nations — UN Live is a global institution based in Copenhagen. Its mission is to “unleash the power of culture to inspire local action and drive global change”. UN Live describes itself as an unconventional and borderless museum that seeks to reach and connect people on a global scale to the values and work of the United Nations. While formally stewarding the brand of the United Nations, UN Live is an independent institution. History The adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 inspired the three cofounders Olafur Eliasson, Jan Mattsson, and Henrik Skovby to establish the Museum for the United Nations. DR (broadcaster)
DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. DR was originally funded by a media licence, however since 2022, the media license has been replaced by an addition to the Danish income tax. Ban Ki-moon (; ; born 13 June 1944) is a South Korean politician and diplomat who served as the eighth secretary-general of the United Nations between 2007 and 2016. Prior to his appointment as secretary-general, Ban was his country's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade between 2004 and 2006. Ban was the foreign minister of South Korea between 2004 and 2006. Olafur Eliasson
Olafur Eliasson ( is, Ólafur Elíasson; born 5 February 1967) is an Icelandic–Danish artist known for sculptured and large-scale installation art employing elemental materials such as light, water, and air temperature to enhance the viewer's experience. In 1995 he established Studio Olafur Eliasson in Berlin, a laboratory for spatial research. Studio Olafur Eliasson was founded in 1995 by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference
The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, more commonly referred to as COP27, was the 27th United Nations Climate Change conference, held from 6 November until 20 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It took place under the presidency of Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, with more than 92 heads of state and an estimated 35,000 representatives, or delegates, of 190 countries attending.
