In computer science, a multimap (sometimes also multihash, multidict or multidictionary) is a generalization of a map or associative array abstract data type in which more than one value may be associated with and returned for a given key. Both map and multimap are particular cases of containers (for example, see C++ Standard Template Library containers). Often the multimap is implemented as a map with lists or sets as the map values. Ystrad Rhondda railway station is a railway station serving Ystrad in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. It is located on the Rhondda Line. Alphabetically, it is the last station in the UK with the first being Abbey Wood station in southeast London. History It was first opened on this site by British Rail on the former Taff Vale Railway in 1986 and is the location of the only passing loop on the section of route north of , which had previously been singled by British Rail in stages between 1972 and 1981. Ystrad Mynach Railway Station
Ystrad Mynach railway station is a railway station serving the town of Ystrad Mynach, south Wales. It is a stop on the Rhymney Line of the Valley Lines network. The nearest bus interchange is Blackwood Interchange, away. From 2020, the rail linc bus (901) that links with the train no longer operated. It operated to Maesycwmmer, Pontllanfraith, and ended at Blackwood. History Ystrad Mynach railway station was on the Rhymney Railway opened in 1858. It consisted of staggered platforms on the main line, as well as a separate platform on the Dowlais line. Nearby Penallta Junction gave access to the Great Western Railway and the Aberdare Valley, opened 1 April 1871 and the Cylla branch opened on 1 August 1906 to access the new Powell Duffryn owned Penallta Colliery. The latter line closed in 1991 and has since been lifted, but the former is still in use (for freight only) as far as Cwmbargoed to serve the coal washery and associated opencast mine at Ffos-Y-Fran. Yorton Railway Station
Yorton railway station serves the villages of Yorton and Clive in Shropshire, England. It is 7¼ miles (11.5 km) north of Shrewsbury on the Welsh Marches Line towards Crewe. It has two platforms and dates from 1858. Trains only stop here upon request. The station was designated for the axe in Dr Beeching's "The Reshaping of British Railways" in the 1960s; however it was ultimately saved. Facilities The station is unstaffed and has no ticket provision (so these must be bought on the train or in advance); the old buildings still stand but are now privately owned. There are shelters on both sides and train running information is provided via CIS displays, a customer help point on platform 1, a payphone on platform 2 and timetable poster boards. Yorkgate Railway Station
Yorkgate railway station serves the north of the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The station opened in 1992, replacing the previous York Road railway station nearby. As at May 2021 there are plans to rebuild Yorkgate. History Following the demolition of station in 1992, a new station had to be constructed to serve the in-development Cross Harbour Rail Link. Yorkgate station was therefore constructed to the side of the original site of York Road station, and served as a temporary terminus for Larne Line services until the completion of the high-level Dargan Bridge, which joined the Larne Line to the rest of the NIR network at , allowing services to run from Yorkgate directly through to the city. The rest of the site of York Road station is now occupied by Northern Ireland Railways' central maintenance depot, while the old works remain, a few yards to the north and backing on to York Road itself. Yalding railway station is on the Medway Valley Line in Kent, England, serving the village of Yalding. It is down the line from London Charing Cross via and is situated between and . The station and all trains that call are operated by Southeastern. History The station opened on 25 September 1844 when the South Eastern Railway opened the line between and . The line was originally single track but was doubled in 1846. In 1897 there were two platforms joined by a footbridge, a signal box and sidings both sides of the running lines. The goods yard was able to accommodate most types of goods including live stock and was equipped with a 1¼ ton crane.
